VW to offer low cost warranty extension

Volkswagen is offering “low-cost extensions” to its commercial warranties to alleviate ANY concern drivers may have over van reliability and unforeseen costs.

The scheme is available for VW’s standard two-year warranty cover across the range of vans in the brand, including the Caddy, Amarok, Transporter, Shuttle, Caravelle and Crafter.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ sales and marketing manager, Niall Phillips, said the scheme was VW’s way of playing its part in “keeping the wheels moving on the economy”.

An additional two years’ cover costs €704.18 for a Caddy; €861.12 for a Transporter; and €900 for the Crafter, said Mr Phillips, who described the charges as “a small price to pay for extended piece of mind”.
